This summer, unleash your creativity and get your hands dirty in this fun and interactive clay class. This hands-on
course is designed for both beginners and experienced students who want to explore the versatile medium of clay.
Students will:
. Learn essential techniques such as hand-building, sculpting, and glazing.
. Experiment fundamental clay techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab construction.
. Work on 3 projects: starry night, fish plate, flower or owl vase.
. Engage in hands-on clay activities that encourage teamwork and social interactions.
. Bond with peers and teachers, cheer for each other's creativity, and showcase art work together at the end of session.
When: Saturdays 1:30-3:00 PM (90 minutes) on 6/1, 6/15, 6/22, 6/29/2024
Where: FCSN SB center
Who: anyone who can sit for 1+ hours and enjoy art activities
Capacity: 10
Cost: $120 for 4 sessions including materials fee.
