Tri-City Band Corps is excited to announce its Special Needs Percussion Program tailored to special needs students with any experience.
Tri-City Band Corps Special Needs Percussion Program aims to provide musical opportunities to middle and high school special needs students, promote community awareness, develop a variety of musical skills, and make new and memorable friendships.
There are several benefits to participating in this program, which may include:
1) Developing music and rhythmic abilities
2) Developing hand-eye coordination and fine & gross motor abilities
3) Promoting self esteem
4) Building teamwork skills
5) Developing innate abilities and talent to reach for the stars
6) Promoting community awareness, defeating stigma and stereotyping by recognizing individuals with special needs
WHO: Individuals with special needs ages 12 and up
WHEN: Sundays from 2-4pm
SCHEDULE: 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/21
