In this class, we combine colorful storytelling, music, and interactive games to learn about our diverse identities and how
to be confident in them. Our books touch on different physical features, cultural identities, and personal identities. This
helps students build understanding of other children, struggles they may face, and build empathy. Lessons in these
storytimes will teach them how to set their own boundaries and celebrate their genuine selves.
Some of our books include:
- Eyes that Speak to the Stars by Joanna Ho
- Don’t Touch my Hair by Sharee Miller
- When Langston Dances by Kaija Langley
